Expedition to Morocco - Marrakech
During this exclusive expedition, we will experience the best of southern Morocco with a Portuguese/English speaking Tour Leader to ensure your comfort. We will travel through breathtaking landscapes between Marrakech, the High Atlas Mountains, the Dadès and Todgha valleys, and the majestic Sahara Desert in Merzouga. We will share typical meals, visit Berber villages, cross the desert on camels, listen to traditional music around the campfire, and sleep under the starry Sahara sky. Road map
🌟 Day One - Arriving in Marrakech:
Arrival at the airport, reception by the local team and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon to explore the Medina and the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square.
FREE TIME
Day Two - High Atlas | Ait Ben Haddou | Dadès Valley
Departure in the morning. We cross the High Atlas Mountains, visit a women's argan oil cooperative, and explore the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO).
Dinner and overnight stay in the Dadès Valley.
Second stop: Vila do Gerês
We continue to Vila do Gerês, a charming village located in the heart of the park. Known for its thermal waters and welcoming atmosphere, when strolling through the village, you will be enchanted by the combination of traditional architecture and the green landscape that surrounds it. Vila do Gerês is an excellent place to explore local culture, try regional cuisine and experience the hospitality of its people. Furthermore, the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys offer a cozy setting, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Gerês.
First stop: São Bento da Porta Aberta
We begin our trip in São Bento da Porta Aberta, a historic sanctuary of deep spiritual significance. This place is one of the most important pilgrimage centers in Portugal and attracts visitors from all over the country. The basilica dedicated to Saint Benedict is an example of religious architecture, with its imposing facade and beautiful stained glass windows. The serene environment of the sanctuary, surrounded by nature, provides a moment of reflection and peace. Here, you will have the opportunity to admire beautiful views of the region, appreciate the tranquility of the place and understand why it is such a popular destination.

Fifth Day - Marrakech
Free time to visit souks, gardens, and savor the local cuisine before transfer to the airport.
